pointer Streamit Japan

Streamit Japan is going to define the most innovative project ever released in "soft diplomacy" and cross-border commerce fields.

Streamit TV is based on its own technology that lets the audience use a simple pc as a normal television, without any delay and without loading or buffering time, wherever an adsl broad band connection is available.

The zapping will be easy and enjoyable thanks to the new on screen remote control, that will be soon available also as a software to install on your mobile or smart-phone.

The project was presented to the international press at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo on November 18th, 2010.

The goal is to promote japanese citizens' curiosity, knowledge and interest towards the italian lifestyle.

The e-commerce channel, promoted, directed and managed by Streamit Japan, will let the users test immediately the "Made in Italy" products, buying them directly through the platform, via telephone or computer. Italian products will be presented as tv sales, a kind of format that is very appreciated and used in Japan.

The platform imparts a vertical thrust to the most representative assets of our country, enhancing in particular the artistic, cultural and touristic heritage. The whole programs schedule will present a distinctive italian element at a time, organising channels into themes, through ad hoc programs studied and produced in Italy in collaboration with the japanese staff.

The "Italian Kitchen" channel, i.e., will present the regional recipes, matching culinary and territorial themes, to enhance the different local characteristics as constituent elements of our national identity, which is rich and highly variegated. On this channel a hypothetical Mrs. "Yamato" will be able to buy wine from Toscana and Parma ham, because she will learn, thanks to the programs, how to appreciate and match this kind of tastes.

The start-up of this project is structured in the following channels:

01 STREAMIT GUIDE CHANNEL : guide to streamit.jp content

02 ITALY CHANNEL : collection of all content about Italy

03 JAPAN CHANNEL : selection of all content about the japanese world

04 ARTS CHANNEL : dedicated to artistic, cultural and historical italian heritage

14 ASIA CHANNEL : dedicated to the cultural heritage and the commercial opportunities of the asiatic market.

Further implementations will be released in a second step, mainly according to the final aim to develop the "return channel": Japan presented to Italy and to Italians.
